We will not be bringing as much stuff this year as in past, as it is orginized on the shelves in our store. So if you see something on the web site that you would like to see in person at a show, let us know a couple days before the show so we can get it pulled and loaded on the truck. November 17th 2008, Today I put on a couple of original ice box latch& catch sets, as well as a original cast brass door knob set.
November 15th, 2008, Today I put on several differnt pieces of wood molding, as well as a couple of original door knob sets, a original cast brass entrance plate, and some original cast brass eastlake style brass knobs & some original glass knobs, and a spool cabinet knob.
November 14, 2008 Today I put on a columbian pattern by Reading hardware entrance set. Also I installed press cane in 3 chairs
November 10, 2008 Just got thru rushing a set of 8 Gustav Stickley chair seats for a customer
and today put on a couple differnet original antique walnut picture frame leaves,
October 30, 2008 just closed on a old wharehouse that I once used, been in the building for 27 years, so lots of cleaning and moving, in a week, Now what do you do with all the stuff?? I found stuff that I had forgoten about, aswell as looking for stuff that should still be their, a few items missing? oh well it is over and done with. On with progress!
October,2008 I have been having computer problems again, so I have not been putting on as much as usuall, Also I have been doing some chair caning, rushing, and Ash splint weaving, in the store, I have been putting ons some items just keep checking Craig

The Agricutural hall exhibits, the Fair Food, the Industrial hall exhibits, the the local band boosters & church food booths, the crafts and arts, as well as all the 4H exhibits & 4H food, the Carnival, and did I say, all the great FAIR FOOD
The Historical Villiage, with log cabin, log church, log smoke house, old time 1 room school house, 1840's house, wood working shop, fire barn with our 1929 REO fire truck, puzzle barn, 1920's gas staition, township hall, blacksmith shop, indian villiage store with black ash basket weaving demonstraitons, rail road depot station, and caboose, and 2 large farmers buildings, with 1000's of items on display including a 1909 Gale automobile, Antique tractors, by the gazebo, and picnic area, with lots of Allegan County History, stories to be told, by the Allegan County Historical Socitey members
September 3rd 2008, Today I put on a couple of original cast brass and bronze file card pulls, as well as a couple of original furniture knobs, and a original bin pulls
August 22nd 2008, I have been busy in the store this month so far repairing furniture and recaning chairs, and have put on some parts, but the evil machine ( the computer) has been working very slow so not as much gets done, also have added quite a few photos with insturctions on how to recane a chair and have started one on rerushing a chair also.
So, but today I have put on several bakelite and celloid or plastic drawer pulls, and knobs, as well as some old solid brass trunk corners, and some chrome fixed handles
August 16-17 Also had the Fibre festival here at our fair grounds
Which is for all fibre arts weaving, knitting, felting, spinning, whatever, the supplies, the tools, the finished goods, it was a good show for all that missed it.
I did not get to see it all I only seen the main buildings as I was working over in the antique pioneer villiage.

July 17th 2008, Today I put on several backplates only for Original T-bar pulls, a couple more sewing machine keys, a pair of original cast iron chest handles or lifts, and a lg group of 1960-70-80's bar drawer pulls.
July 15th 2008, Today I put on some original fancy cast brass window lifts, some lock & keys, keyhole covers, and added to some of the hardware already on line. also put on some original sewing machine keys
July 14th 2008, Today I put on several origial bakelite & metal drawer pulls, a pair of T-Bar handles and 3 1960's funky pink enamal over copper knobs, a couple of picture molding hooks and a lock for a chest or trunk, a lock for a curved glass china, a couple parts for a spool cabinet, and a arch. keyhole cover.
July 12th 2008 Today I put on several sets original brass fixed handles and a couple of sewing machine pulls & a set of art deco depression drawer pull, with black bakelite. also more rim lock catches, some snap latches and hinges for small boxes
July 11th 2008, Today I put on several different pattens of original New Old Stock Yale & Towne porclain decorated rosettes and knobs also put on some original spool cabinet hardware and a flush ring pull latch.
July 9th 2008, Today I put on a couple of flush ring pulls a china pull and some NOS hoosier type latches, & 11 pr of brass 3/8" offset H-style hinges.
July 8th 2008, Today I put on a couple of original french door morticed locks, some original chest lifts, some different oak knobs, and locks, and 17 pair 1960-70-80 3/8" offset hinges
July 7th 2008 Today I put on some original antique art deco knobs, & fixed bar handles, along with a flush ring pull, also put on some original rim lock strike plates.

May 6 2008, Today I put on a original cast brass with porclain knob cupboard latch, a pair of cast iron with porclain knob latches, some brass slide bolts, some hinges, and some inserts for the early style porclain casters, also put on a pair of reproduction cast brass 2 3/4" dia. rosette and a couple of 3 beaded chain light fixture mounting sets, an original pressed painted porclain ceiling light fixture, and updated the stamped latches.
May 3-2008, Today I put on a set of original cast brass drawer pulls, a set of cast iron bin pulls, a set of wood knobs, a bakelite drawer pull, a set of plated castors, a lg set of 1960's drawer pulls, put on a couple of hoosier or kitchen cupboard hinges, a couple of arch. fancy iron hinges.
